People at my work sometimes use ridiculous phrases, I've been commenting on them with my friend Caroline for some time now, since they also do that at her work. I think this is something which happens at a lot of large companies, especially the sorts of places which already have to care about their "corporate cultures" for other reasons (in our case this is for encouraging safety).
At any rate, sometimes, when people at my work need to tell you that they'd like to talk to you about something outside of the meeting in which you are currently meeting, they instead say "I'd like to snake with you" or "Let's snake on that."
